Learn to Knit
This class teaches you the basics - casting on, the knit stitch, and binding off. Start with a simple project such as a scarf or felted placemat.
Learn to Purl
Expand beyond the knit stitch. In this class you will learn how to combine the knit and purl stitches into a project with ribbing.
Knitting Continental Style
Be prepared! This takes a lot of practice but you will be able to knit at lightning speed afterwards!
Crochet Clinic
Crochet is making a comeback! Start a crochet project or finish your knitted project with beautiful crocheted accents.
Fun, Hip, and Easy Projects
Cell phone carriers, headbands, dog collars! Get inspiration and instructions for your own fun ideas!
Finishing Clinic
Bring in your almost-finished project for help in joining pieces, picking up stitches, weaving ends and the like.
Creative Embellishments
There are lots of ways to add your own creative touches. Try needle felted designs, beadwork, crocheted edges, embroidery, and even leatherwork!
It's a Guy Thing
Learn the basics! Men who have taken our basic knitting class went on to make some great-looking caps and scarves!
Sock Clinic
From sturdy to lacy, short to long and everything in between. The basic principles for socks can be used for most patterns!
Needle Felting
Learn the basics of needle felting using wool roving and felting needles on a foam surface. Try your first fleece dog!
Knitting Doctor
We can help you decipher your pattern, find a mistake, or tackle a complex stitch.
Family & Friends Classes (1-1/2 hrs)
$50 for up to 4 students, $15 each add'l student
Great for mothers & daughters, sisters, co-workers!
Classes are one hour, unless otherwise noted. $25 per person per class. 4 classes for $80, valid for 3 months when prepaid.
